Just for Fun
Yara has this on her blog, and she said 'Anyone who wants to do this - I'd love to see your answers!' so here I go....
1. How many kids do you have? 3, and due Dec 23rd-TWO days before Christmas. Yikes!!!
2. What are their ages? 5, 3, 1 and I'm 28 weeks preggers.
3. What time do you usually start your day? 7-8:30am. The kiddos get up usually around 8:30am.
4. What do they eat for breakfast? Eggs or cereal or yogurt.
5. Do they get to watch T.V.? yup... but I control what they get to watch. Mostly science/animal videos or Word World, Dora or Diego.
6. What's their favorite activity? Playing (toys, games, craft stuff, pretend....)
7. Do you get a break during the day for some "you" time? Yup, if I'm not napping when they are then I go on the computer, do housework or read.
8. How do you end your day? Go to sleep after watching our shows, no real set schedule, we just fall asleep although I do make sure their diapers are changed for the night and hubby gets them their "juice" cups and we all say goodnight and love you's.
9. What's your best parenting advice or tip? Don't sweat the small stuff and consistency with discipline.

What has been up lately.
I guess I will start with Madisen's update starting from her 1st birthday party. Had a wonderful party for her. Had to move her party to Sunday cause I was too tired to do it on Saturday, after cleaning so much on Friday. My sister came over to help watch the kids while I concentrated on cleaning. That was a blessing. My family and FIL attended. We opened presents-she got mostly clothes and a few toys-they have too many toys already. After that we had cake and ice cream. First birthday cake to be decorated by me and not the store. It looked wonderful.
Went to her 1 yr well baby visit and doc was really pleased with how she is doing. Said wonderful that I was still b/f her. She weighed 19 lbs which was lower then expected but she has been 90% breastfed then. I want to change her car seat around but won't happen yet. My other two I just had to wait until they turned a year cause they already had the weight on. My milk is going down because of the pregnancy so doc said to add whole milk now which is what I was going to do anyway. She still now nurses on average 3-4 times a day mostly before naps and bedtime and sometimes when she wakes up and always once during the nights. I'm only going to stop when my supply is finished till the new baby comes. I don't know yet if I want her to pick up nursing after the baby comes when she has stopped for a few months. I mean its a record that I have even nursed this long-my previous longest was 4 1/2 months and now its almost 13 months and I'm nursing during a pregnancy even. I would tandem nurse if my supply never dropped during pregnancy but once we stop I think that it might be it for her. I know hubby wouldn't be too comfortable with me nursing a 2 year old and don't know if I would either but we will see. But thank God that I wasn't selfish and decided to try and nurse her even past the 6 month mark.
Maddie is such a blessing and an easy girl. She already has her own personality and oh boy is it cool to watch her. She loves running although a little out of control. She hates being left behind. She gets mad when big bro and sis get to go see FIL and MIL and she can't. She tried climbing the gates to get into the other room-we keep gates up for safety sake and mostly because in-laws dog will come poo in our areas and kids might get into it. She loves playing with the remotes, phones and any pens that are lying around, she will get mad if you try and take away a pen when shes trying to draw. She just loves to draw on paper and herself. If the kids are playing on a computer she will watch and even push her way to get closer. If the kids are in the way she will push them until she gets what she wants.
She has a great attention span and will go by herself to the toys and play for a good 10-15 mins. She understand when I tell her to give me something and if I tell her to go get something that she knows, she will pick it up. If she has something I don't want her to have I'll tell her to give it to me and if she doesn't want to she will hug the thing and turn away and if you tell her again then she just gets this scowling look on her face. It's so hard not to burst out laughing.
She says mama, dada, juice, cheese, grandma, bye, yeah, this, that, and it sometimes sounds like thank you. She still don't have much more hair then what she was born with even though it is alot. She has the biggest blue eyes. Just love them. Still only has eight teeth. She loves pointing to your face parts. She loves getting into peoples food and self-feeding with her hands. There are a couple times I came back from doing something and she's gotten into food and its all over. She is so precious and such a joy to have.
My prenatal update: I went to the ultrasound on the 15th and got to see the baby. Just one in there. Heartrate was 163. They change my due date to the 23rd when it was Christmas Eve. Which would line up to the conception date exactly. I want this baby early or at least I dont want s/he to come on Christmas day. I hate when my kids have the same birth month as something important like another birthday or holiday. I hate that it will take away from their special day. So I hope that s/he will either be a couple days early or later then the 25th. Alyssa was early cause she was induced but Logan was 3 days early and Maddie was 1 day early so this one I think will be late.
I think this one is going to be a boy. We are going to use the name that we had if Maddie would have been a boy. Jerod Xavier.
Went to my first prenatal appt yesterday, was with the normal doc that I have to use for the first visit. I had to wait 35 mins to get in to see her. We went over my prenatal history questionairre that they make you fill out. Told her about my 24/7 m/s and she asked if I wanted meds for it but I told her that I like the m/s because it reminds to eat. It does get better when I eat but barely this time. We talked about my thyroid problem and diet. I'm following the brewers diet or at least trying to. Got my checklist and working on marking it off.
Got my blood pressure and weight checked. Gained 5 lbs from pre-pregnancy weight but that was before I had to pee.
I brought up that I was still breastfeeding my daughter and she was totally fine with it and said that lots of other patients that have done that and that the milk will dry up when the baby needs more of the things from me that its a build in protectant for the growing baby's safety. I was floored that she was so ok with it cause she is a regular obgyn and not a midwife or even a medwife and she was saying that. I did refuse any genetic testing but did do the blood work and pee in a cup one.
My next appt I schedule with a medwife in 4 weeks for my thirteen week visit. I'm still tired and peeing alot. Having lots of weird dreams. Starting to get too big for my size 16 jeans. Just bought another 2 pairs of maternity jeans and 2 pairs of pj bottems. I'm doing ok otherwise. Kids are excited. I was 9 weeks yesterday and thought I felt baby move the day before and yesterday but can't be too sure yet.
So those are my long, long updates. Hope you enjoyed reading them.

I'm about 6 weeks and 3 days today. At least I think I am. I'm going to be doing a dating ultrasound on May 15th because I'm also curious to see something.
I have been having symptoms since 3 weeks and 1 day. Got my first faint positive on 3 weeks and 5 days.
Started showing (bloating) at almost 4 weeks. Went from a size 11 jeans to a 15 in two days. I can't even lay on my stomach now, it hurts, have to use a pillow. So tired all the time.
Started getting morning sickness at 5 weeks 3 days. Really takes a tole on me. Don't want to eat but have to, to help get rid of m/s. Sometimes I wake up to breastfeed Madisen or take care of contacts and pee and the m/s is so so horrible. Has anyone had worse m/s when they are breastfeeding? It also didn't help that I got hit with the really bad flu that is going around lately. I threw up a couple of times and TMI major diarrhea along with chills and fevers. I practically slept the whole first day and the only thing that helped beside sleeping was flooding myself with water and not eating anything.
Boob pain alot and sometimes it feels like my uterus is contracting when she feeds.
Vivid crazy dreams for the past few days.
Ok most of this is negative but I am really happy. Everyone we have told has been really happy. My Fil has started getting the plans ready for adding the second story onto the house. An architect from the church (which is a whole other praise story) measured everything yesterday to start the plans and then get together with an engineer and come back in two weeks to show us the plans then they can start building. Yeah!!!!!
I went shopping yesterday and pick up some cute maternity tops and a couple pairs of jeans. It was fun shopping. When I was in the dressing room I put on those fake belly thingy and Maddie liked to pat my tummy. Logan tried to hide under my shirt cause my stomach was so far out with that thing and it made a little tee-pee under there. LOL.
Anyway got to go make and decorate Logan and hubby's birthday cake for their party tonight and eat something before I faint or throw up.
Thank you for reading this. :)

I'm pregnant!!!
Yeah!!!! Just found out two days ago. My last child was born 11 3/4 months ago and I just got blessed with the monthly womanly thing last month. Because we are quiverfull (http://www.reference.com/search?r=13&q=Quiverfull), we weren't using anything to prevent pregnancy. I had been nursing my dd2 and still am but have been feeding her a little bit of table food which brought on Aunt Flo. I took the first test on 4/14 and it came out a faint positive. Yesterday and today's came out a little darker then the previous day's. This is actually my fifth pregnancy. There was a baby-to-be-born that miscarried at 12 weeks between Alyssa and Logan.
Yesterday my hubby decided to tell my in laws without me knowing. So I was by their room and they told me congrats. I pretended not to know why just in case hubby hadn't told them-although in all positive pregnancy test cases they were told within one hour to one day of us knowing our self. We just cannot keep the news to ourselves. They are totally excited even though this will be the fifth. I think its because my hubby is an only child and my mil had issues that she couldn't have another.
Then I called up my 2nd oldest but fourth in line sister who was just as excited. Then my mom cause she wasn't home and sis was. She was so happy. (She's actually going to be going to Germany to help out my first oldest but second in line sister with her first birth due within the next few weeks. They live there cause my sister is in the Army reserves and her hubby is in the army and was stationed in Iraq. They are almost done with their tour and will becoming back to the states soon but not before the baby is due.)
The next person we told was our oldest daughter and the look on her face was so precious. Wish I could of had a video camera. She is thrilled. We are blessed to have such supportive families. I'm the first born of six with only one boy and the two youngest girls are 16 and 18 yrs younger then me. My parents both came from families of ten. So children are a blessing to us.
Anyway by my calculations I'm due end of the year close to Christmas. So just four weeks now. I think we are hoping for a boy to even the family out. I actually felt like I was pregnant at estimate of 3 weeks and 1 day. I was so happy when the test came out positive because I thought I was preggers in Feb when it was really my thyroid out of whack. Having all these symptoms sooner then my last pregnancies. I had a major headache that I usually only get during pregnancy, then the tiredness came on and have had to take naps alot lately, peeing a tons more, eating alot more and nauseous . I think some of it is also from still nursing Madisen. Although with the first three pregnancies I had practically no symptoms and with Madisen I was nauseous from weeks 6-12 then fine. So we will see how this one will go.

A little bit more about me.
Hi, I'm Jewellz. I'm a 27 yr old married christian SAHM of three kiddos. Alyssa is 4 1/2. Logan is turning three in two weeks. Madisen is turing one next week. My hubby and I have been married 5 1/2 yrs. I live in the Pacific Northwest. Love to read, scrapbook, make jewelry, collect lighthouse stuff, learning to crochet, avid photographer and love anything to do with the beach-wish I could live there.
We eat organic/natural foods as much as we can financially. I organically grow my own veggies and fruits-when they actually come up.
Going to breastfeed as long as possible, baby-wearing as much as possible, co-sleeping, cloth diapering the two younger ones.
Going to learn how to make own baby food when it becomes necessary.
We don't go anywhere without them-so no babysitters.
I buy natural skin care products and use natural household cleaners.
I make my own mama pads, breast pads and cloth baby wipes.
I've had my gallbladder removed after the birth of my first daughter. Diagnosed with hypothyroidism after the birth of my son. Went gluten free after the birth of my second daughter.
We live with the inlaws as my MIL has alot of health and mental issues that is better for us to be here helping them out. We are currently in the process of adding a second story to the house which will bring the house to a total of 6 bedrooms and 4 baths.
